According to ESPN.com's John Clayton, Rich Gannon has excelled in throwing 25-to-30-yard intermediate routes with accuracy and even unleashed a few 50-to-55-yard throws this offseasson.

Gannon's newly found arm strength could bring him back as one of the elite fantasy QBs, just like he was a few years ago. Then again, we still don't even know if Gannon will be the starter now that he's in competition with Kerry Collins. On thing is for sure, I'll be watching Gannon and the Raiders very closely in the pre-season games to see if this article has any merit.
