As PFT's Michael Davis Smith noted, the Colts tried to get a deal done with Garcon before free agency and it’s still possible that he’ll stay in Indianapolis, but he decided to test the market first. That may end up being a profitable decision because the Redskins are known to be interested in spending big to get a playmaker at wide receiver -- even though the recent
league ruling taking some of their salary cap space away has hamstrung their efforts. The 25-year-old Garcon started all 16 games for the Colts last year and, despite the absence of Peyton Manning, had career highs in catches (70), receiving yards (947) and touchdowns (six). ... Stay tuned.
