Kolb will receive a $7 million bonus if he's on the roster Saturday. But the Cardinals deadline for making the decision to keep him on the team has to come a day earlier.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
According to Republic staffer Kent Somers, NFL rules mandate that Arizona would have to release Kolb by 1 p.m. Friday. That's the official deadline to remove someone from the roster by Saturday. the move has to be turned into the league office by then. It can't be done at midnight on Friday. ... Given that, Somers assumes the Cardinals are hoping Peyton Manning makes a decision by 1 p.m. Friday. If he picks the Cardinals, the team likely will let Kolb go, saving itself from paying the bonus. If Manning choose another team by then, I expect the Cardinals to keep Kolb and pay the bonus. And if Manning hasn't made a decision? Then the Cardinals have a difficult one on to make. ... Stay tuned.
