Raiders head coach Dennis Allen says that he expects McFadden to be ready when the team takes the field to open the season.

McFadden missed the final nine games of 2011 with a Lisfranc injury that was called a sprain during the season. "Yes, his foot is better," said Allen. "He was back in town, working out last week, and we got a good evaluation on him. Darren will be ready to go whenever we get ready to kick off the season, that’s for sure. Darren is a vital part of what we’re going to try and get done next year." It sounds like there is still some healing and rehab to be done.
