an ongoing story. ... The Dolphins are believed to have interest in Flynn. But they didn't hire new HC Joe Philbin with the assumption that they would automatically get Flynn, according to a source.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Still, with Philbin, formerly the Packers OC, on board it will not be at all surprising if the Dolphins pursue Flynn, an impending free agent who filled in for Aaron Rodgers and threw for 480 yards and six touchdowns in the regular season finale against Detroit. And as Profootballtalk.com suggested, Philbin's ability to develop QBs and potential to improve the team's passing game was high on the list of attributes that impressed Miami. His relationship with the best option on the free agent market couldn't hurt. ... According to Herald staffer Barry Jackson, there's also a possibility Philbin could bring Green Bay's highly respected QB coach, Tom Clements, with him to Miami, but that's not certain. Clements and Philbin both interviewed Thursday for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coaching job.
