According to FOXSports insider Jay Glazer, Steve Spagnuolo has agreed to join the New Orleans Saints as new defensive coordinator.

The Saints lost Gregg Williams to Jeff Fisher and the Rams, the team that fired Spagnuolo as head coach earlier this month. Spagnuolo put together a powerful defense during his stint as Giants coordinator and it would not be hard to find those who might argue he's an upgrade over Williams. Spagnuolo will keep New Orleans’ 4-3 defense in place.
