Brian Costello of the New York Post reports the Jets are considering Tony Sparano and Dirk Koetter for the OC position if Brian Schottenheimer leaves.

Schottenheimer is a candidate for the open HC position in Jacksonville -- although he's not considered a favorite. HC Rex Ryan said last week that the chances of Schottenheimer returning to the Jets were about 50-50, based on Ryan's apparent belief that Schottenheimer is a legitimate candidate for the head coaching job. Meanwhile, ESPN's Adam Schefter had reported that Sparano and former Chiefs HC Todd Haley might be interesting in joining a team as a package deal (with Sparano handling the rushing attack and Haley the passing game). Koetter was OC in Jacksonville until last week. ... Stay tuned.
