In the dressing room after the game, players and coaches were shaking hands. When teammates and friends extended their right hand to Daniels, a six-year veteran, he asked them to be careful. He said he might have broken his hand. He will have an MRI to determine the extent of the damage.

According to Sporting News correspondent John McClain, Daniels should be able to play next week in the divisional playoff game at Baltimore, as long as the injury doesn't require surgery. His ability to make tough catches could be limited, however. Daniels' backup, Joel Dreessen, has sore knees but will be available next week.
