The Facts:
Following up on
an ongoing story. ... HC Jim Schwartz still hasn't spoken to Stafford at length about his rehabilitation from right shoulder surgery during the offseason. It's just not much of a concern. "Our trainers have talked to Dr. (James) Andrews and the people who have been doing his rehab," Schwartz said Monday. "We felt really strongly even before the surgery where his rehab was going to go and how he was going to bounce back from it. We've been able to get weekly, even daily, reports back about that."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
"It didn't take seeing him throwing with his teammates (in unsupervised workouts during the NFL lockout) to know where he was in his rehab," Schwartz added. "We had a very good idea even before that." Schwartz said Lions officials got a glimpse of Stafford's repaired arm at halftime of the University of Georgia spring game in Athens, Ga. "He was throwing to some fans. We've been able to peek in on him at times," he said. While Schwartz indicated a reduced throwing schedule might benefit Stafford, the coach insisted he is pleased with reports on Stafford's progress. "It wasn't a real complicated procedure and it wasn't a real complicated rehab. I think Matt knew what it's going to take him to get ready," he said, "so I think we all feel pretty confident about that. ..." If Stafford is healthy, Fantasy Football owners can be equally confident in continued improvement from the Lions' passing attack.
