Jordan Palmer Calls Carson Palmer A Former Teammate
(6/8 4:7 PT)

The Facts:
Asked during Wednesday's player-organized workout if he had to deal with Carson Palmer and if he is feeling any effects from his brother's situation in Cincinnati, Jordan Palmer replied: “The route I’m taking is I’m focused on the Bengals and myself. I’m getting myself prepared to be the guy and if I’m not I want to get this team as prepared as they can be. I’m separating myself from what Carson is doing. He’s my brother but he’s a former teammate going a different route and I’m focusing in what is front of me.” Reported by the Cincinnati Enquirer

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
In case you've somehow missed it, Carson Palmer is said to be dead set on following through with threats to retire rather than take another snap as a Bengal (multiple stories available here). While HC Marvin Lewis seems to be resigned to Carson's departure, owner Mike Brown continues to say the veteran signal caller will not be traded. ... When asked how Carson is doing, Jordan said that he is doing well and focusing on his family at the moment. ... Rookie Andy Dalton is expected to start if Carson isn't on the roster.
