The Facts:
In a roundup of media interviews on Tuesday by HC Jim Schwartz, Tim Twentyman of
the Detroit News reports Schwartz said running back Jahvid Best, when healthy, proved that he can be an explosive playmaker. "[Best] isn't built to be a short-yardage back when there's three minutes left in the game and you're protecting a seven-point lead," Schwartz said. "But Leshoure is."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Leshoure, out of Illinois, was selected with the 57th overall pick in the second round of April's draft. Remember: The Lions cut ties with veteran Kevin Smith and have all but written off Aaron Brown. That leaves veteran Maurice Morris as the only thing standing between Leshoure and significant playing time. Based on Schwartz's comment, it would appear the rookie is in line to move into the No. 2 spot is fairly short order. Whether he emerges as a legitimate prospect this year, Fantasy Football owners with Best on their rosters will likely notice Leshoure's presence.
