The Facts:
In this week's Monday Morning Quarterback column, Peter King of Sports Illustrated mused that the Colts might have second thoughts about a long-term contract with Manning, given the fast that he's 35 and has
had two neck surgeries in the past 16 months.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Colts president Bill Polian, however, called King Monday afternoon from Italy and told the scribe: "We've got little or no worry. This was just a minor procedure to relieve a little pressure on the nerve [in Manning's neck]. I told them [Colts officials] to call me if there were any further problems, and no one's called. ..." While there's really no doubt about the team's desire to re-sign Manning, we'll suggest that King's
initial point still stands: There has to be at least some question about Manning's ability to finish out a five-year contract. It will have to be structured accordingly.
