The Facts:
Anyone operating under the assumption Young could remain with the Titans can forget about it. HC Mike Munchak reiterated Thursday that the team and the quarterback will part ways, no matter what happens in the NFL draft.

The fact that the verdict was reached on Jeff Fisher’s watch changes nothing, said Munchak. “That was a decision made months ago and nothing that is going to happen personnel-wise, or how the draft goes, is going to change that,’’ said Munchak, who replaced Fisher in February. RB Chris Johnson told The Tennessean last week he didn’t think the decision to trade or release the two-time Pro Bowl QB was “etched in stone” because it was announced before Fisher left the Titans. But Munchak said the Titans have had no second thoughts. “We are standing by that decision," he said. ... As Tennessean staffer Jim Wyatt notes, the Titans can’t trade or release Young during the NFL lockout. But Young, who is due a $4.25 million bonus 10 days after the start of the new league year, will be released before that bonus is due.
