The Facts:
As promised, three Cowboys' veterans met with the young and troubled Bryant on Saturday. According to a message from Bryant's Twitter account, he had a lunch meeting with QB Tony Romo, C Andre Gurode and LB Keith Brooking at an unknown location. "Had a good time," Bryant said on his account.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Gurode and TE Jason Witten have said in recent weeks that players would be reaching out to Bryant in an attempt to help him through current problems and put him on the right track -- something that has to please Cowboys officials, who can't contract Bryant due to the ongoing lockout (it's been
a concern at team headquarters). ... In case you missed it, Bryant's off-season has included
a run-in with security at a local mall and having two lawsuits filed against him (see
here and
here), alleging the non-payment of more than $850,000 in jewelry and sports tickets. He
has settled one of the suits.
