The Facts:
Jones-Drew is already able to run, one month ahead of schedule, after having arthroscopic surgery on his left knee in January. "The knee's doing great," Jones-Drew said during his first in a series of weekly radio shows on SiriusXM. "I'm ahead of schedule. ... I've been meeting with doctors everyday, just been pushing through, working through everything."

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Jones-Drew tore his meniscus in the preseason and sat out the final two preseason games to rest it. He opted not to have the knee surgically repaired and instead went as long as he could with the slight tear. By the end of the season Jones-Drew's knee cartilage was completely worn down, causing a bone-on-bone situation. He was having to have his knee drained on a regular basis. ... With the knee already ahead of schedule, Jones-Drew will further benefit from the additional rest forced on him by the lockout. We suspect that's a good thing in his case; no need the additional wear and tear that comes with OTAs and mini-camps.
