Our Rams sources tell us they think the team does have some interest in Rice should he become available in free agency.

PFW went on to note, however, the Rams are also a bit leery of the hip injury that limited him this past season. But as Profootballtalk.com noted, the Rams have a need at the position due to a "group of so-so" receivers, with the best among them (Donnie Avery) coming off a serious injury. Mark Clayton is expected to be re-signed, but he’s also coming off big injury. ... Stay tuned. Whether it's Rice or others, the Rams seem all but certain to be fishing for wideout when the CBA is resolved and the free agent market opens. Still, as PFT further noted, Rice would be a nice high risk/high reward addition to help out Sam Bradford.
