CBA Talks End Until Tuesday Morning
(3/7 5:57 PT)

The Facts:
The NFL and NFL Players Association met for a 12th day of federal mediation on Monday, staging face-to-face negotiations with the now twice-moved expiration of the collective bargaining agreement looming on Friday. The league and union are expected to return to the FMCS building on Tuesday at 9 a.m. Reported by NFL.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
The two sides didn't arrive until 3 p.m. ET Monday, to allow for travel, at the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, and finished just after 7 p.m. According to NFL Network insider Albert Breer, mediator George H. Cohen broke the sides for the evening, with both the NFL and NFLPA expected to meet amongst themselves, and Cohen reserving the right to call them back Monday night. Breer echoed previous reports suggesting serious differences remain in how to divide the $9.3 billion of total revenue the NFL pulls in. Also worth noting, on the afternoon of March 3, Breer reports the NFLPA had two staff members make the two-block walk from the union office to the FMCS building to hand-deliver copies of all the necessary decertification paperwork as the deadline to file neared. The NFLPA was within minutes of pulling the trigger and pulled back just before the clock hit zero. ... Stay tuned. More undoubtedly to come.
