Ward revived his career in Houston with a 6.3 yards-per-carry average last season. The Texans will bring back Arian Foster, Ward, and Steve Slaton to their backfield next year. ... The announcement of Ward's deal comes the same day as the team signed a new four-year deal with TE Owen Daniels. As PFT suggested, the offense is in great shape to stay among the league’s top ten in yards and points.
