The news was not good concerning Nelson’s rib injury after Buffalo’s loss to New England Sunday. HC Chan Gailey confirmed that Nelson would be in no shape to play next Sunday in the team’s season finale against the Jets at the Meadowlands.

Nelson took a shot from Jerod Mayo over the middle in the first half and did not return. Buffalo was forced to play the rest of the game with just three healthy receivers. The Bills are likely to add another wideout to the roster this coming week, with practice squad wideout Paul Hubbard a likely add. Hubbard spent a short stint on the active roster earlier this season.
