Even if Jon Kitna, who suffered a strained oblique muscle Saturday, could take the field in a backup role, does the team really want to put the 38-year-old quarterback in that position? Not really. The Cowboys will sign QB Chris Greisen to the practice squad later today and quickly try to bring him up to speed. They expect him to be the backup for Sunday's finale.
