Gerhart is the final of the VIkings' eight draft picks to come to terms on an agreement. The deal got done about three hours before the Vikings first practice of training camp and Gerhart is expected to be on the field. The Vikings traded up in the second round with Houston so they could select Gerhart with the 51st pick overall. He was the runner-up for the Heisman trophy last season at Stanford and will be expected to serve as Adrian Peterson's top backup.
