According to Texans.com staffer Nick Scurfield, the Texans just announced that they have placed TEs Daniels and Anthony Hill on the PUP (Physically Unable to Perform) list.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Both players are recovering for reconstructive knee surgery after suffering torn ACL's last season and both are on the active PUP, meaning they can come off and begin practicing at any time. Daniels, of course, is of primary interest to Fantasy owners. While all indications up to this point have been that Daniels will be ready to go by Week 1, his progress will merit your attention in coming weeks. We will follow up as developments warrant.
