While it sounds like Jones was speaking without the benefit of MRI results, it seems unlikely he would make such a definitive statement without at least some understanding of the severity of the injury. If Jones is correct, it's hard to imagine Bryant being a Week 1 starter. ... In case you missed it, Bryant was hurt late in Friday's practice. Per Mortensen, Jones was not happy that Bryant was hurt on next to last play after taking all the offensive reps and doing return work. The owner suggested his staff might have overworked Bryant.
