Shockey was taken to a hospital via ambulance this afternoon after suffering from seizure-like symptoms in the weight room, according to a report by ABC26 Sports and NewOrleans.com, which cited a league source.

Shockey was able to walk to the ambulance on his own power, according to the report. The Saints held a practice from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by meetings and media interviews until 11:30, and Shockey was fine at that time. Stay tuned. We'll obviously have more as further details are released. In the meantime, it's worth noting the next time that Shockey would participate in any workout would be at a mandatory mini-camp June 4-6.
