Teammate: Jeremy Shockey's Seizure Was Frightening
(5/27 2:41 PT)

The Facts:
Team sources confirm that Shockey was rushed to the hospital after apparently suffering seizure-like symptoms during a weight training session at the conclusion of the team's third Organized Team Activity (OTA). As previously reported, Shockey was able to walk under his own power with the assistance of paramedics to a waiting ambulance before he was taken to a local hospital.  Reported by NewOrleans.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
But teammates are telling reporters the situation was rather harrowing. An eyewitness provided the following account to NewOrleans.com staffer Brian Allee-Walsh. The player asked to remain anonymous because of the sensitive nature of the situation. "It was a little scary; it looked like maybe a mild seizure or a full body cramp or something,' the player said. "He was shaking and everything, and he was basically out of it for probably a minute or so, but it seemed longer. After he started coming back everything was pretty much all right. He seemed aware and everything seemed OK after a while. He got up and was walking around. ..." Again, it sounds like the immediate concerns are minimal. But we'll continue to watch for more on Shockey's condition and update as developments warrant.
