Mangini Could Play Both Delhomme And Wallace At QB
(5/28 10:21 PT)

The Facts:
Eric Mangini is considering playing both Jake Delhomme and Seneca Wallace at the quarterback position next season, the Browns coach told the Cleveland Plain-Dealer. "I don’t think you could rule out the possibility of having them both play," Mangini said Thursday. "I think Seneca has had a really nice camp. It’s a different style than Jake’s, which is good because it puts some different pressures on the defense.” Reported by The Sporting News

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Delhomme is more of a traditional quarterback. Wallace is more of a running QB. "Seneca gives you some flexibility to do some things, just like Jake has certain things that he does. If you can incorporate them both in a plan that makes sense, that works, then that could be a good thing. ..." Mangini also touted the possibility of putting dynamic playmaker Josh Cribbs and Wallace on the field at the same time. The Browns have installed some of the “cyclone package” featuring Wallace and Cribbs together, according to the report. Wallace played college football at Iowa State, whose nickname is the Cylcones.
