As PFT's Michael David Smith notes, it's not clear whether the Seahawks, who waived White today, knew of the pending suspension when they acquired him in a trade with the Titans during the NFL draft. That said, La Canfora reports that the reasons for the Seahawks releasing him go beyond the suspension. ESPN.com's Mike Sando lent further credence to that notion when he suggested earlier today that Seahawks officials questioned White's overall commitment to playing.
