The Facts:
Turner, who missed five games with an ankle sprain in 2009, said Monday he’ll be ready to hit the field for mini camp and other offseason practices. Speaking after the first workout of the team’s voluntary offseason conditioning program, Turner said he is “still finishing up some things” with his rehab, but is looking forward to being a regular in the weight room leading into the spring and summer.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As the team's site reminded readers, Turner was named to the Pro Bowl after a 2008 season in which he rushed for 1,699 yards and 17 touchdowns but he got off to a slow start in 2009. He had just one 100-yard game in the first six weeks of the season before rushing for 151 and 166 yards (three touchdowns) in back-to-back games against the Saints and Redskins. He rushed for 111 yards on just nine carries Nov. 15 at Carolina before leaving the game with a high-ankle sprain. Turner returned to the lineup two weeks later and carried the ball 12 times before aggravating the injury. He had just one start and one carry the rest of the season, totaling 871 rushing yards and five scores.
