According to PFT's Greg Rosenthal, Shockey doesn't say what he did during his "long ass day," but Birmingham is the location of Dr. James Andrews' office. Shockey been slowed in the playoffs by a knee injury and reports last week suggested Andrews was involved in the ongoing issue. Whatever the case, Shockey insists he'll play in next week's Super Bowl. "I felt like a pogo stick out there on one leg, but I have no doubt in my mind it'll be a lot better in two weeks," Shockey said Monday. "It's probably a three- or four-week injury, but there was no way I was going miss that game. There's no way I'm going to miss the next one, either. ..." Stay tuned. We'll continue to follow up.
