Boldin told Republic staffer Kent Somers on Wednesday he has a high left ankle sprain and a sprained left medial collateral ligament.

We knew Boldin had ankle and knee injuries but this is a little more detail than we had before. Boldin worked with a trainer during practice Wednesday and his status for Sunday's game against the Packers remains uncertain. If Boldin can't go, Steve Breaston and Early Doucet move up in the rotation.
