The Facts:
As the Bengals prepared for their last open practice of this training camp Monday, there was more speculation that Palmer won't play in Thursday night's pre-season game in New England with a mild ankle sprain. In fact, ESPN's Bob Holtzman reports that Palmer will not play in the Bengals' second pre-season game.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Wearing a walking boot before practice, Palmer deferred comment to HC Marvin Lewis' news conference. That's where Lewis said Palmer was day-to-day and could play as well as take a few snaps in practice Monday. That didn't happen. J.T. O'Sullivan ran the first-team offense while Palmer worked on the side. All indications are that O'Sullivan will get the start in New England.
