Favre has since arrived at team headquarters. ... As reported in the
Headline News section, Favre is expected to sign a two-year contract worth between $10-12 million a year. All indications are the deal will be consummated once Favre passes a physical. Favre had arthroscopic surgery to repair his throwing shoulder in May and spent this summer working out and led everyone to believe he was on his way back to the NFL until his surprising announcement last month that he would remain retired. That has obviously changed.
