Marshall is in the final year of a four-year contract that will pay him $2.198 million this year. Marshall, who is recovering from hip surgery, would not have been able to participate in the three practices this weekend, but was required to show up for rehab treatments.

As Post staffer Mike Klis ntoes, besides not being happy with his contract, Marshall has cited a lack of confidence in the Broncos medical team, saying the severity of his hip injury was misdiagnosed last season.
