The Texans have agreed to a one-year contract with Grossman. If Grossman passes his physical on Friday as expected, he will give the Texans four quarterbacks entering next week's mini-camp.

Agent Drew Rosenhaus released the same info on his Twitter account. According to Chronicle staffer John McClain, Grossman, the Bears' No. 1 pick in 2003 will sign a one-year deal for the minimum $620,000. He will join starter Matt Schaub and backups Dan Orlovsky and Alex Brink as the four quarterbacks on the roster.
