A league source tells us that the Miami Dolphins have signed Polite to a two-year contract extension. Financial terms of the extension aren’t yet known. Reported by Profootballtalk.com

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Polite, who entered the league in 2004 with the Cowboys under then coach Bill Parcells, signed with the Dolphins in 2008 after a year in Chicago. Polite appeared in eleven regular-season games last year, starting five times. He also started the playoff loss to the Ravens. Before 2008, Polite had three total career regular-season starts.
