The Facts:
Even though evidence continues to mount that Favre is seriously considering coming out of retirement to play for the Vikings, his agent attempted to shoot down the speculation in a report today. Bus Cook told the Hattiesburg paper “there’s absolutely no substance to all the speculation” regarding his client.

Cook also said “right now” Favre remains retired, that he had “heard reports” about Favre throwing passes at a local high school and that “as far as I know, he’s not working out with any trainers. ...” As Star-Tribune staffer Chip Scoggins notes, this isn’t the first time Cook has denied Favre rumors and probably won’t be the last. ...
