Details On Offers For Anquan Boldin Come To Light
(5/15 4:21 PT)

The Facts:
After the draft, Cardinals GM Rod Graves said the team received two firm trade offers for Boldin. Graves declined to reveal either offer, but Bears GM Jerry Angelo told local reporters that he offered a second-round pick. The Eagles also made an offer, according to an NFL source: a third-round pick and starting cornerback Sheldon Brown. The Cardinals quickly rejected it. Reported by the Arizona Republic

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
In case you missed it, Eagles HC Andy Reid told a Philadelphia radio audience that the price for Boldin was too high, both in terms of trade compensation and a new contract. As a baseline, Reid threw out trade terms of first, third and fifth-round picks, in addition to a new contract worth $10 million or so a year. Agent Drew Rosenhaus claims his client was willing to take less, but Republic staffer Kent Somers reports that Boldin wasn't willing to take much less. ... Again: Don't look for Boldin to move -- or get a new contract -- any time soon.
