The Facts:
Examining the signs pointing towards Favre's return for another season -- most likley with the Vikings, NFL.com's Scott Hanson writes: As for his motivation for making another comeback, Favre wants to win, to be sure. But he also wants a crack (or two) at his former team. Specifically, Packers GM Ted Thompson.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
There's a surprise. ... Must be a slow day on the Favre front when we're rehashing the QB's disdain for Thompson. The most newsworthy aspect here, however, comes in the form of a comment Favre made in a phone conversation with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell. Favre stated his intention -- to be released and join the Vikings. At one point, Hanson reports, Favre got passionate on the phone, telling Goodell, "He (Thompson) doesn't want me going to Minnesota, because he knows I'll kick his a** twice a year!" Nice quote -- and almost certainly still true. But as noted in numerous updates, Favre's shoulder will be a bigger issue than motivation. Stay tuned.
