The Facts:
Favre has remained publicly silent about his possible Second Annual Unretirement. But his actions might be telling the whole story. Jim Souhan of the Minneapolis Star Tribune recently reported that Favre again is working out with a Hattiesburg high school team.

“His arm is there,” J.D. Simpson, friend of Favre and chaplain of the Oak Grove high school team, told Souhan. “It’s a certain throwing angle or motion that hurts. It doesn’t hurt all the time, though, and just looking at him throwing, you can’t tell there’s anything wrong with it. ..." There you have it. And as PFT's Mike Florio so aptly put it: "Even if Favre told Vikings coach Brad Childress last week that Favre won’t be playing, we simply won’t believe it until Favre isn’t lining up under center for Minnesota in Week 1. ..." We agree. We also believe Favre can and will string this thing out until training camp opens. So stay tuned.
