The Facts:
The next phase of the Jets' off-season program begins today at Florham Park, N.J. This doesn't come as a surprise, but Jones didn't attend today's OTA session, according to a team spokesman.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Jones has been skipping the voluntary workouts since mid-March. The first mandatory event is a full-squad mini-camp, June 9 to 11 and Daily News staffer Rich Cimini believes Jones will be there to avoid the fine. Obviously, Jones wants a new contract. He's due to make $900,000 this season, which sounds low, but he's made $13 million the last two years.
