The Facts:
Dolphins GM Jeff Ireland put one of the biggest offseason rumors to rest Saturday night after the team had completed its first day of the NFL Draft. When asked if Brown was on the trading block, Ireland said no and that the rumor could be "put to bed."

National Football Post's Mike Lombardi reported last week that Brown could be available for the right price. But Ireland explained that when other NFL teams call to ask if a player is available, he says they all are -- at the right price. Ireland believed someone "took that and ran with it," thus launching the rumor about the team trying to trade the productive Brown. Ireland said that team wouldn't be trading Brown, "and you can write that."
