Burleson was interviewed on KJR-AM by Dave Mahler on Thursday morning. First of all, he said he has been running for about a month right now as he recovers from knee surgery last September.

Burleson, who suffered a torn ACL in last season's opener, said it looks like he'll be back in time for the start of the regular season. That jibes with recent comments by HC Jim Mora. ... As for the addition of T.J. Houshmandzadeh? "I'm always partial to get a proven playmaker whether he plays the same position or not," Burleson told listeners.
