The Facts:
The San Francisco Chronicle reports that the Oakland Raiders have no interest in signing Owens — or any other big-name player, for that matter. “It’s like a complete 180 from last year,” one team source told the Chronicle, adding, “There is no way T.O. is coming here.”

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
While they've been identified as a likely suitor, the Raiders are taking a more conservative approach in free agency this year, and signing the pricey and controversial T.O. would go against the new policy. ... Meanwhile, we'll advise you that following the minute-by-minute denials of interest (and claims to the contrary) is something we'll avoid in an effort to keep from clouding actual news (those looking for a full accounting of teams stating disinterest will find a good one
here). We will continue to pass along credible reports. But we'll suggest at this point that a given team's admissions or denials of interest should be taken with the same grain of salt used for agent Drew Rosenhaus' claims of intense interest from multiple teams.
