Somers went on to explain the Cardinals don't seem inclined to increase that offer, partly because they could be bidding against themselves. And what if Warner becomes a free agent on Friday and the best deal Warner can get on the open market is worth an average of $8 million or so? If that happens, Somers suggests it's questionable if the Cardinals keep their offer of $10 million a year on the table.
