The Facts:
Delhomme is in the final year of his contract with the Panthers, but there are no immediate plans for a long-term contract extension. While that could change at anytime this off-season, Delhomme's agent Rick Smith said Tuesday there's nothing in the works right now.

Delhomme, 34, is entering the final year of his contract and has the second-highest base salary on the team at $5.325 million. Cap-wise, he's set to cost more than $10 million this year. But there are no ongoing discussions with the Panthers at this point.
