The Facts:
Jennings' rookie deal could run out after the 2009 season – that’s assuming there’s a new collective-bargaining agreement that keeps the current free-agent eligibility rules in place – and as the Packers’ most dynamic offensive player at only age 25, he’s the kind of player teams don’t let get away. “We would like to make sure he stays a Packer,” GM Ted Thompson said Friday.

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
Jennings won't come cheap, but his price will only go up once next season starts -- assuming he remains productive. And as Press-Gazette staffer Paul Daugherty suggested, that price will go up even more if the Packers can’t reach an agreement with him this year and end up using their franchise tag on him next offseason.
