It was a straightforward question from Ch. 11's Babe Laufenberg to Tony Romo: Do you want Terrell Owens back? "I think everybody on our team wants everybody back," Romo said. "You know, I don't make any decisions. I don't pretend to think that I can control anything in that regard."

As Morning News staffer Tim MacMahon suggested, Romo didn't publicly try to push Owens out the door by any means. But his answer was a far cry from T.O.'s all-is-swell take on his relationship with Romo. ... Meanwhile, SI.com insider Peter King wrote this morning: "I think everyone doing free-agent lists should add one name to their lists in pencil: Terrell Owens. I'll bet you a month's worth of lattes he'll be free in six weeks."
