The Lions released six players, including cornerback Leigh Bodden, wide receiver Mike Furrey and safety Dwight Smith. Also giving their walking papers by Detroit were tight end Dan Campbell, guard Edwin Mulitalo and tackle Jon Dunn. Reported by The Sports Ticker
