The Raiders are expected to hire Tom Cable as their coach, league sources said. The Raiders denied the story and said Wednesday that no decision has been made.

ESPN.com's Michael Smith is also reporting Cable is the guy. ... As NFL Network insider Adam Schefter stressed, Raiders owner Al Davis has been known to unexpectedly change his mind, but it appers he will drop the interim tag from Cable's title in coming days.
