The Facts:
In a Tuesday interview with Chris Myers and Steve Hartman of FOX Sports Radio, Tomlinson hinted that he’d consider taking a pay cut to stay with the Chargers. “I think it’s warranted being talked about,” Tomlinson said. “Of course, at the end of the day, the organization always feels like they need to make the best decision for their business, and I’m going to have to do the same. I’m going to have to talk to my family and my agent, and make the best decision for my life and my future.”

Fantasy Football Diehards Line:
As PFT's Mike Florio suggests, the decision likely will be based on LT’s agent, Tom Condon, “gauging the market.” Florio went on to explain that technically speaking it’s tampering for teams to talk contract with Condon, the agent breaks no rules by finding out what another team would pay Tomlinson if he were to be available. Meanwhile, Tomlinson suggested in earlier interviews that he expects resolution -- at least with the Chargers -- in fairly short order. Stay tuned.
